We are a local company that has the honour of receiving the Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
In 2006 we developed a sustainable process to customise products using hi resolution imagery, replacing paints in the decoration process.
It was developed from the outset to deliver sustainable products that were eco-friendly and high quality, plus being independently certified for sales as meeting national and international regulatory requirement and consumer safety requirements.
Each day we ship, on average, 10,000 personalised products to 10,000 different addresses in some 102 countries.
Our business believes that addressing social standards is also highly important and we have received agency accreditation from Underwriters Laboriatories and Intertek. We set out to employ people who need jobs and who share the same values and commitment.
We invested in e-commerce to enable people to create unique products/gifts for friends and family and also to shop anywhere, anytime. We created a global production operation where products, as far as possible, are produced in country from one of six locations – North and South America, Europe, South Korea (servicing Japan and China), UK, Australia (servicing New Zealand and all countries from Australia to Singapore). We also have Joint Venture partners in the Middle East.
We design, manufacture and deliver new products almost every week – products that are reusable and recyclable, using materials from sustainable sources. We created this technology and the production systems that ensure that we play an active role in reducing our carbon footprint.
Our business revolves around our UK technology hub in Blacknest, ten minutes from Farnham. We embraced early on being part of the digital revolution that enables people to personalise products in an omni-channel environment.
Yes, we are in at the beginning of what we believe is a future where people will be able to create gifts for friends and family. Gifts that reflect emotions, personalised with photos from their photo libraries contained on their smart phones. These personalised products are produced by our company in the UK or at one of our global operations and then sent by us to our customers. This is what we call personalisation.
We launched our Givftstation programme in Farnham’s Lion and Lamb Yard as an ‘experiential store’ – an ‘endless aisle’ store, where customers can experience the product, the quality and allow us to tell the story and the journey of our company and its technology. We believe that we are unique in that we deliver products that enable our customers to create that special gift – one that creates happiness for both the giver and the receiver.
